MAISON DESIGN is an Interior Design Company in Montreal that arises with the purpose of unifying and bringing to the present century and to the French Canadian Society, different interior design styles, the cultural arsenal of styles and designs inherited from the past. In the past, interiors were put together instinctively as a part of the process of building. The profession of interior design has been a consequence of the development of society and the complex architecture that has resulted from the development of industrial processes.

The Association of professional interior designers of Quebec (APDIQ) is a not-for-profit organisation that serves as a classification and certification of the profession in order to insure its recognition and to protect a professional individual competency as well as its mean of accreditation. It is the only reference organisation that controls the owners of the title Designer d’intérieur certifié APDIQ through an accreditation.
The pursuit of effective use of space, user well-being and functional design has contributed to the development of the contemporary interior design profession.
